I lived in a small town in America it was a nice town with beautiful a beautiful view. I was a 13 year old girl with one sister we lived in a small house and we had a pool we lived with our parents but there was one problem rats the rats were everywhere you looked and from a young age my parents taught me how to get rid of them the method they used is what I like to call “swimming lessons” I would have to place traps outside at night and when morning came I would go outside fill a plastic tub with water and put the cage with the rat in it into the water and close the plastic lid and wait for the rat to drown but one day all of that changed when I finished doing swimming lessons I locked the lid in place and went to go eat. My parents said they are gonna leave me and my sister alone at home so I went outside but there was no rat in the tub. I saw small foot prints on the floor and decided to see where the rat went and to my surprise I found a small creature looking at me from the rocks. I tried to catch it but suddenly rats started surrounding me and I fell into the pool. I started screaming for my sister to help me but she couldn’t the rats found the control panel for the pool cover and pressed the button. The pool started closing, I was trapped under water..I couldn’t breathe and all went black and that’s what I called swimming lessons.
