I was watching the T.V in my room at around 8 P.M, I received a text from my friend Mariana. She was asking if she could come over saying she was really lonely, I found it kind of strange since she’s always hanging out with her mother and she is never alone. Within the same 2 minutes she sent an aggressive text saying “If you don’t answer me I will hurt you don’t underestimate me!” That text seriously worried me, I started wondering if this possibly wasn’t my friend. I texted her asking if she was okay and she answered with “I’ve had enough of this, I’m coming to your house to deal with you.” I started panicking and was thinking there is no way this is Mariana, she would never act like this! I went downstairs to look out the windows, but saw nothing. I was home alone and was really scared of the thought of something happening, I started questioning if I should call the cops. I did just in case, I told them everything. They said they would arrive at my house in the next 30 to 50 minutes. But then, I gasped when I saw an all white SUV appear from out of the darkness pulling Into my driveway! I saw a man that looked to be 60 or 70 years old! I panicked as the man started banging on the front door, then literally started kicking the door and screaming that he would hurt me. I went to grab a large butcher knife and hid in my bathroom, I got a painful feeling when I heard the door bust open really loud! The Man yelled “Where are you don’t worry I will find you” and he kept screaming stuff like that as he was moving around the house. I heard him stomping up the stairs when suddenly, I heard multiple sirens outside my house. I heard the man sprint downstairs and jump out a window. I heard the cops screaming at the man. I came out of my bathroom and peaked out my window and saw them putting an extremely tall man in the back of their car. I ran outside my house and fell into their arms, they told me they have seen the man before and learned he was planning a break in soon. I just happened to be the house he chose. I found out my friends phone had been stolen, now she has a new one and a new number. I will always remember this and I’m so thankful the cops came to help me.
