The story started the day before the new year,that is December 31st 2017 me(shailesh) and my friend Praveen from Bangalore(Karnataka state) went to a place called hosur (Tamil Nadu state) which is 40kms travel. Praveen friends from hosur had invited us both to have new year party . There were ten friends including a cop. That is totally we all twelve people. We all planned to go to a hill near by that place and enjoy the new year with some drinks . As planned eight people traveled in car and four people including me came in bike . While we were travelling me and Praveen saw a place called “venkatapuram” on the way to hill. Finally we reached the spot it was very dark and we planned for a camp fire and we did . Just in front of me there was a huge pond and when I saw that pond I felt something creepy.now the time was 11:59 we all friends wer very eager to wish each other and say loudly “happy new year”. As we wished it became 12’o clock and we enjoyed except me all had drinks. I don’t know why, I was cin the small waves in the pond it was attracting me and disturbing . And then the cop named murugan jumped into the water for swimming to show off ,cause he has boozed. The pond was very dark so, ma friends had given me a torch . I on the tourch and ws shouting at him to come back . All ma friends were shouting at him to come back . Sudenly this cop who was swimming was missing so I just searched him with torch the entire pond sudenly I saw a dark face. I felt I was dead I just turned back to call ma friends and called Praveen wen he came I just torched on the same place there was no one. I thought this place is creepy so it might be just an imagination. All new year party over in tat place and we had to leave. It was about 2:30.I was about to say what i saw near the pond to ma friends but dint say cause I felt where theyl make fun of me. And now we all had to leave. same asusual eight friends went in car and we four friends have to go in bike . Me and Praveen took one bike and other two that is Robbin and murugan (cop) took other bike . But there was a problem from other two friends they were standing near the pond itself with the bike.me and Praveen had to go back and check what’s the problem I asked Robin what happened he told he had lost his bike key. We all four started searching the bike key near that place. Suddenly I heard a creepy walking sound behind me when I turned back there was no one. I was shocked and we all four friends came back then I sent Praveen and that murugan (cop) to check near that camp fire place . It might be there also . So they both went to search but within few minutes they came back running to us . I asked Praveen and murugan (cop ) *what happened? they told natin!**. And said they dint find the key. But I saw Praveen who was shivering and little nervous. The cop told take ma bike and you all three people go in one bike .my home is nearby so I’ll walk and go. So we decide to do as he said and we went. I was riding the bike and Robin in the mid and Praveen in the last. Praveen was holding my shoulder tight and his hands were shivering I asked Praveen “why Praveen WT happened in that place? .he denied saying “nothing happened” just ride. We reached to Robin’s home and We left Robin safely to his home . And near Robin’s home also I felt some creepy noise and footsteps . A soon as we left Robin me and Praveen left that place . To reach city we have to go through forest . And when we were going I asked Praveen “what happened why you and that murugan (cop) came running from that pond”? . Praveen told nothing happened. When we were riding I felt like someone following us . So I just stopped the bike and turned behind and saw there was no one. And I continued the ride and suddenly I saw a green board with name as “venkatapuram” I just stopped the bike and got scared. My friend Praveen asked what happened .so I told him did u c that board “we saw this place name with the same board near that pond” and we have travelled 20km far from that place and how come it’s showing here . We were confused thinking we were in wrong direction . At this point are mobile was switched off cause of low battery . We were literally scared .but I was confident that we are goin in correct path . So we decided to go in the same path at this time Praveen told me “shailesh, me and murugan (cop) was running n coming from that pond cause when we were searching for the key the camp fire which was offed before we left from that place .started burning suddenly with high flames .now listening to this I got even more scared so I decided to say Praveen what I saw . When I told he got scared and cought my shoulder very tight. As we were pasing the forest we again saw the same green board with same name “venkatapuram” we got scared and I just started to ride the bike very fast . again after some 300mts we saw the same green board with place name “venkatapuram”. we thought some evil is planning to bring us back to that pond by changing the place name . But I was very confident that I was goin in right path. Now I started to ride very fast to reach the city . Finally we reached city and went home and slept the next day we called and asked the murugan (cop) “is there a place named “venkatapuram” near that pond and inside the forest. So murugan (cop )told “no there is no such place called venkatapuram here”. Listening this I felt I have been dead and brought alive to my home. Gods blessing. Me and Praveen reached home safe.
